THE SAFETY BELT WEBBING GUIDE (B-PILLAR "D" RING) CAN BREAK UNDER HEAVY LOADS.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: THIS CONDITION CAN REDUCE THE RESTRAINING CAPABILITIES OF THE SAFETY BELT IN THE EVENT OF AN ACCIDENT.
Remedy: DEALERS WILL REINFORCE THE METAL PLATE WHICH IS PART OF THE WEBBING GUIDE ("D" RING) IN THE UPPER SAFETY BELT ANCHORAGE FOR BOTH FRONT SEATING POSITIONS.
