THE SELF CANCELING TURN SIGNALS DON'T FUNCTION SAFELY DURING TURNING MANEUVERS. *NM STATIONARY SPLASH GUARD MOUNTED OVER THE STEERING TIRES BLOCKED SAFE ACCESS TO THE OUTER WINDSHIELD AND PROHIBITED WINDSHIELD CLEANING. IT TOOK 95 POUNDS OF FORCE TO PRESS THE CLUTCH PEDAL. THE GEARSHIFT STICK WAS MOUNTED TOO FAR TO THE RIGHT AND TO FAR TOO THE REAR, RELATIVE TO THE LOCATION OF THE DRIVER'S SEAT. THE DRIVER'S SEAT IS MOUNTED TOO FAR FORWARD. THE RIGHT FRONT POWER REARVIEW MIRRORS WERE NOT MOUNTED SECURELY IN THEIR HOUSINGS AND AS A RESULT THEY VIBRATE. THE HIGH BEAM INDICATOR LIGHT IS LOCATED AT THE BOTTOM EDGE OF THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. WITH THE TILT STEERING COLUMN THE LIGHT WAS HIDDEN BEHIND THE HUB OF THE STEERING WHEEL. THE DOOR STEPS ARE HIGHER AND FARTHER APART WHICH STRAINS THE DRIVER'S KNEES AND MAKES ENTRY AND EXT FROM THE CAB MORE DIFFICULT. (VOLVO VNL-780 DIESEL). *NM
