I purchased the motorcycle new on August 7, 2026, with approximately 132 miles and trailered it home. My first ride was August 21. After about 45 minutes, I was stopped at a traffic light. When the light turned green and I applied the throttle, the ABS, Traction Control, and Check Engine lights illuminated and the motorcycle suddenly stopped responding to throttle input, appearing to enter limp mode. With traffic behind me, I coasted off the roadway. The selling dealer advised cycling the ignition to clear the fault so I could get home. On August 22, I rode the motorcycle to a local dealer about 60 minutes away. Approximately 30 minutes into the ride, after stopping at a stop sign and attempting to cross an intersection, the same failure occurred. I coasted into a parking area, cycled the ignition three times, and continued. About 15 minutes later, shortly after pulling away from another stop sign and crossing a busy intersection, the same loss of throttle and warning lights occurred again. The motorcycle remained at the dealer from August 22 through August 29. After picking it up, I stopped about 15 minutes from the dealer. When leaving the parking lot and entering a busy road, the same failure occurred again. I pushed the motorcycle back into the lot, cycled the ignition, and returned home. The motorcycle was then trailered back to the dealer and has remained there since September 1, 2026. As of September 11, there is still no remedy. This defect has repeatedly caused a sudden loss of throttle while pulling away from stops and entering or crossing intersections, creating a serious risk of being struck by following or cross traffic.
