Toyota is leaving families without safe transportation.

My 2025 Toyota Sienna is subject to Safety Recall 25TA12 for improperly welded second-row seat rails that may fail and provide inadequate occupant protection in a crash. This is a serious safety defect involving the seats used by my children. The recall was issued on October 7, 2025. More than 60 days have passed and Toyota has not provided an available remedy or repair. Multiple dealerships have confirmed that no parts or repair procedure are available. Toyota Corporate initially stated they would locate or authorize a temporary replacement vehicle within 24 hours but failed to follow up. I was later told Toyota Corporate cannot provide or reimburse alternative transportation, leaving me without a safe way to transport my children. The vehicle cannot be safely used as intended while the recall remains open, and the manufacturer has not provided a remedy or safe accommodation. I am submitting this complaint due to the unreasonable delay in providing a safety recall fix and lack of transportation alternatives.

NHTSA Recall # 25V-668 Toyota Recall # 25TA12 (Interim Notice: 25TB12) This is a major recall since October and Toyota is just trying to waste time and making it sound like a minor issue instead of providing an immediate solution. Not having second-row seats welded properly is a MAJOR safety issue! Unfortunately, my brand new vehicle, bought in June, is involved in this MAJOR recall and Toyota is still forcing me to drive it with the defect. It has been almost 3 months since the recall and still no solution from Toyota. Since there is still no solution, Toyota should buy-back all affected vehicles and provide with the same make and model vehicle but without any issue, give chance to the owners to upgrade, or give the full money back to the owners.
