I love this car and wish I would have received the notice about the engine problems back when Toyota may have done something about it. I know that three difference dealerships have my contact info. I will continue to put in a quart of oil each week until that stops helping.

LITERALLY JUST BOUGHT THE VEHICLE. ONLY TO LOOK INTO THE HISTORY OF THESE CARS AND SEE THAT THEY HAVE A FACTORY DEFECT THAT WAS NEVER PROFESSIONALLY TAKEN CARE OF. NOW ANYONE LIKE ME COMING INTO OWNERSHIP OF THESE VEHICLES ARE PUNISHED FOR SOMETHING WE HAD NO KNOWLEDGE OF NOR CAUSED.I WAS DRIVING MY CAR TODAY DOWN A RESIDENTIAL ROAD WHEN ALL OF A SUDDTHE CAR JERKS AND DIES. IT WOULD RESTART AFTER THAT. NOW MIND YOU I TAKE GREAT CARE OF MY VEHICLES AND KEEP ALL FLUIDS TO THEIR FACTORY SUGGESTED LEVELS. I FOUND OUT LATER THAT IT SPUN A BEARING THANKS TO THIS FACTORY OIL DEFECT. SO THE MONEY I JUST INVESTED INTO THIS CAR IS NOW A DONATION. AND I EITHER FIND A NEW CAR, BUY A NEW ENGINE OR REBUILD THE ENGINE. ALL FOR A PROBLEM THAT TOYOTA SOO UNPROFESSIONALLY HANDLED AND REFUSED TO TAKE OWNERSHIP OF. NOW I DON'T KNOW WHAT CAR COMPANIES KEEP SECRETS FROM THE PUBLIC BUT I'M SURE ONE THAT DOESN'T GIVE ONE IOTA OF A F!?@ ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS WOULD ALLOW SOMETHING LIKE THIS TO PASS BY WITHOUT RECTIFYING THE ISSUE AND MAKING IT RIGHT.
