74 reportsRIGHT FRONT END FAILED. TOYOTA SERVICE MANAGER DISCOVERED THAT A PART HAS BEEN INSTALLED BEFORE VEHICLE WAS BOUGHT THAT WAS THE WRONG SIZE AND A REPLACEMENT FROM A JUNK YARD.
RADIO CAUGHT FIRE DESTROYING VEHICLE, RECALL ON RADIO PRIOR TO INCIDENT, HOWEVER CONSUMER DID NOT RECEIVE A NOTICE.
CAR LOSES SPEED WHILE GOING UP HILL EVEN THOUGH ACCLERATOR PEDAL IS FLOORED DUE TO COMPUTER FAILURE.
ONCE VEHICLE GETS WARMED UP, IT BECOMES EVIDENT THAT ENGINE NEVER GETS A FULL SUPPLY OF GAS. THIS WILL HAPPEN WHETHER TANK IS FULL, 1/2 OR 1/4 FILLED. *AK

FAILURE OF A SPECIFIC ELECTRONIC COMPONENT IN THE RADIOS CAUSES AN ELECTRICAL SHORT CIRCUIT.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: IF THE FAILURE OCCURS, IT COULD RESULT IN A PASSENGERCOMPARTMENT FIRE.
Remedy: REPAIR THE RADIO.

CERTAIN WINDSHIELD WIPER COMPONENTS ARE SUBJECT TO PREMATURE FAILURE DUE TO INSUFFICIENT STRENGTH TO FUNCTION UNDER HIGH LOAD LEVELS.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: THE WINDSHIELD WIPER ASSEMBLY CAN FAIL AND CEASEOPERATION ENTIRELY, RESULTING IN REDUCED DRIVER VISIBILITY IN INCLEMENT WEATHER.
Remedy: INSTALL NEW WIPER MOTORS, CERTAIN WIPER ARM COMPONENTS, AND RETORQUE THE WIPER ARM PIVOT.
