I am unsure about the exact cause. But upon some research I have noticed there is an open recall for same model of Car which involved Torque Converter replacement and ECM software update. I have been noticing the exact same issue when I see shudder and Vehicle seems to stop slow down significantly before accelerating and any time I am resuming after Red Light. Which is extremely safety concerns. I want to file a complaint so we can have Toyota Addess this for us.

Dealer suggests that I just ignore or cover up. This system is a safety system as marketed by the manufacturer. I feel uncomfortable driving over mountainous routes without it. My tire dealer tells me that this is a constant problem with Toyota's.
car would shutter when shifting. Toyota called this an "extended warranty" issue. I believe it should have been called a "recall". I did not recieve any notification of Toyota's extended warranty notice.

Over the 10 years I have owned this car, it has failed to start about a dozen times. 1/2 the time I am at home and 1/2 the time I am away from home. Sometimes if you wait a few hours it will then start, often times it has to get towed to the dealer. Upon arrival at the dealership, it usually starts. The Toyota dealership has been unable to correctly diagnose the problem. As such, I spend money on repairs that do not actually fix it. The latest "diagnosis" is that the steering lock actuator motor needs to be replaced. Cost about $900. There is no guarantee that replacing this part will fix the problem. Calls to Toyota Corporation go unreturned. I call them, log a case, the case is closed without a response. Rinse and repeat. Has happened three times already. Clearly they do not care. This is a very serious problem. Below is just the latest incident that happened on 10/15/2024.
