NO OWNERSHIP HAS BEEN TAKEN BY THE TOYOTA CORP FOR THESE COMPONENT FAILURES. I SEE THAT YOU HAVE DONE AN INVESTIGATION NHTSA #PE96040. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT THE INVESTIGATION REVEALED. YOUR CUSTOMER COMPLAINT FILE ON THE TOYOTA CAMRY MUST HAVE AT LEAST 50 COMPLAINTS ON THESE COMPONENTS, WITH AT LEAST SEVERAL INJURIES TO THE CUSTOMER. IT DOESN'T SEEM REASONABLE FOR CUSTOMERS TO HAVE TO KEEP THE HOOD UP WITH STICKS, TOOLS, OR ANY MAKESHIFT OBJECTS ON THIS EXPENSIVE AN AUTOMOBILE! THIS IS DEFINITELY A SAFETY HAZARD!
