A CRACK HAS FORMED IN THE AREA WHERE THE LIQUID/VAPOR SEPARATOR BRACKET IS WELDED INSIDE THE FUEL TANK. I INVESTIGATED WITH A BOROSCOPE--IMAGE ATTACHED. I RECENTLY PURCHASED A NEW 2008 SUZUKI SV650 STANDARD MOTORCYCLE. THE INCIDENT HAPPENED RIGHT BEFORE I ENTERED THE FREEWAY. THE SCREW SECURING THE LEFT FOOT GEAR SHIFTER BECAME LOOSE AND FELL OFF.
