IllustrationI have a Subaru 2019 Impreza. When parked in my drive way on a Los Angeles winter day, I turned on my defroster and my windshield cracked at the bottom center of the glass. I assume this has to be a defect given Subarus are made for more extreme conditions.

The windshield on this vehicle is defective. Over time for no reason scratches have appeared. Additionally now chips have occurred for no apparent reason. I have gently used an ice scraper as needed after defrosting the windshield enough to make it practical, however, my scraper is in excellent condition and was not misused. This should not cause a windshield to break down. There are also waves in the windshield that make for an uneven appearance in spots.
I was driving at 50 mph, suddenly heard a noise coming from the windshield and saw a big crack on passenger side of the windshield. The crack grew very fast, crossing about 75 of the windshield. I was driving at 50 mph, suddenly heard a noise coming from the windshield and saw a big crack on passenger side of the windshield. The crack grew very fast, crossing about 75 of the windshield. The two parts of the glass on the side of the crack became separated. The visibility through the windshield was impaired by the crack. This is the second time it happens to the Subaru windshield in a short time. The first time I replaced it by the original Subaru windshield and it cracked again.
Windshield cracked while parked
While driving on highway, knee contacted key causing the ignition to turn off engine. Car began to decelerate. While care was still in drive, turned ignition switch on and engine returned.
A pebble hit my windshield and now there's a crack from the bottom all the way to the other side
I believe my car having some issues with fuel system, gasoline delivery, cooling down and exhaust system, electrical system:ignition. This vehicle only has 15,606 miles on it and should not be giving me this kind of problem.

The brakes on this car squeak constantly. Even after replacing brake pads and rotors the car still squeaks every time the brakes are used. After searching the issue I have found multiple Reddit forums of 2019 Impreza owners complaining of the same issue. I have filed a complaint with Subaru and the dealership I bought the car from (brand new) and they refuse to address this issue. It is extremely concerning to have a car that squeaks constantly as if there is an actual brake issue I would not know it since the car sounds like it has an issue already. If even replacing the rotors and brake pads does not fix this issue, I am concerned that there is a bigger issue at play that may reveal itself later. I ask that Subaru be required to fully look into this issue and correct the brakes for all owners as this is not unique to me and my vehicle.

Subaru of America, Inc. (Subaru) is recalling certain 2017-2019 Impreza vehicles. The left and right side reflex reflector and left side low beam reflector may inadequately reflect light. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: Reflectors that do not provide adequate illumination reduce the driver's ability to see and increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the front headlamp assemblies, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 15, 2023. Owners may contact Subaru's customer service at 1-844-373-6614. Subaru's number for this recall is WRG-22.

Subaru of America, Inc. (Subaru) is recalling certain 2019-2020 Ascent, 2018 Forester, 2018-2020 Impreza, Legacy, Outback, 2018-2019 BRZ, WRX, and Toyota 86 vehicles. The low-pressure fuel pump inside the fuel tank may fail.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: Fuel pump failure can cause an engine stall while driving, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the low-pressure fuel pump, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 24, 2021. Subaru and Toyota owners may call customer service at 1-844-373-6614. Subaru's number for this recall is WRG-21.
