ON CERTAIN MOTOR HOMES THE BATTERY CABLE MAY HAVE BEEN ROUTED TOO CLOSE TO THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD.

Consequence & remedy

Consequence: THIS COULD CAUSE THE CABLE TO MELT, CREATING AN ELECTRICAL SHORT, WHICH COULD RESULT IN A FIRE.

Remedy: DEALERS WILL INSPECT AND REROUTE AND/OR REPLACE THE BATTERY CABLE FREE OF CHARGE. THE RECALL BEGAN ON FEBRUARY 28, 2005. OWNERS MAY CONTACT JAYCO AT 574-825-5861.
