DT*: THE CONTACT STATED WHILE TRAVELING 65 MPH THE PASSENGER SIDE WHEEL ON THE TRAILER BLEW OUT TEARING THE FENDER OFF THE TRAILER. THE VEHICLE WAS PULLED OVER AND THE CONTACT ATTEMPTED TO REPLACE THE TIRE. THE TIRE WOULD NOT FIT BECAUSE THE FRAME WAS ON THE FENDER WELD. THE CONTACT THEN NOTICED THE AXLE WAS WELDED 22 INCHES…

DT*: THE CONTACT STATED WHILE TRAVELING 65 MPH THE PASSENGER SIDE WHEEL ON THE TRAILER BLEW OUT TEARING THE FENDER OFF THE TRAILER. THE VEHICLE WAS PULLED OVER AND THE CONTACT ATTEMPTED TO REPLACE THE TIRE. THE TIRE WOULD NOT FIT BECAUSE THE FRAME WAS ON THE FENDER WELD. THE CONTACT THEN NOTICED THE AXLE WAS WELDED 22 INCHES BEHIND THE WHEEL ON ONE SIDE AND 25 INCHES ON THE OTHER SIDE. BYSTANDERS MANAGED TO REPLACE THE TIRE, AND THE VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN TO A DEALERSHIP. THIS IS A 2006 ROAD KING 10009. THE WELDS ON THE FRONT OF THE SPRING CAME LOOSE ON RIGHT WHEEL, AND A CRACK WAS THROUGH THE WELD ON THE LEFT SPRING HANGER WHICH WAS ATTACHED TO THE AXLE. UPDATE ON 05/16/2006. *AK *NM
