Summary

THE INTERAXLE DRIVELINE U-JOINTS MAY FAIL AT LOW MILEAGE DUE TO A LACK OF LUBRICATION IN THE U-JOINT DURING THE ASSEMBLY PROCESS.

Consequence

THE DRIVELINE COULD SEPARATE WITHOUT PRIOR WARNING WHICHCOULD RESULT IN VEHICLE DAMAGE TO TRUCKS, NEARBY VEHICLES, AND INJURY TO ANYONEIN THE AREA WHEN DRIVELINE SEPARATION OCCURS.

Remedy

REMOVE AND REPLACE THE INTERAXLE U-JOINTS.
