Summary
CHILD SEATS CONTAIN SHIELD THAT MAY CAUSE THE SEAT TO FAIL TO CONFORM TO HEAD EXCURSION REQUIREMENTS OF FMVSS 213.
Consequence
POTENTIAL FOR INJURY TO CHILD WOULD INCREASE IN THE EVENT OF A SUDDEN STOP OR AN ACCIDENT.
Remedy
CONSUMER CAN REMOVE OPTIONAL SHIELD ATTACHMENT OR RETURN CAR SEAT FOR FULL REPLACEMENT.
