Summary

THE ENGINE OIL COOLER GASKET MAY FAIL AND ALLOW OIL TO LEAK INTO THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT.

Consequence

DURING HIGH TEMPERATURE ENGINE OPERATION, LOSS OFLUBRICANT MAY OCCUR RAPIDLY AND LEAD TO ENGINE DAMAGE OR FIRE RESULTING FROM THELUBRICATING OIL SPRAYED FROM THE GASKET RUPTURE ONTO THE HOT EXHAUST SYSTEM.

Remedy

INSTALLATION OF A NEW TYPE GASKET WITH A STEEL CORE.
