Summary
ON CERTAIN TRUCKS, THE BRAKE CAM TUBES ON THE STEER AND DRIVE AXLES MAY NOT HAVE BEEN GREASED.
Consequence
THE BRAKE CAM JOURNALS MAY CORRODE WHICH MAY LEAD TO THE BRAKES DRAGGING WHICH COULD RESULT IN A VEHICLE FIRE.
Remedy
DEALERS WILL ADD GREASE TO THE BRAKE CAM TUBES FREE OF CHARGE. THE RECALL BEGAN ON SEPTEMBER 29, 2006. OWNERS MAY CONTACT MACK AT 1-800-866-1177.
