Summary

VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: 60' ARTICULATED TRANSIT BUSES. THESE BUSES COULD BECOME UNSTABLE AT SPEEDS OVER 45 MPH SHOULD THE HYDRAULIC DAMPENING SYSTEM IN THE ARTICULATED JOINT MALFUNCTION.

Consequence

THE TRAILER COULD START TO SWING FROM SIDE TO SIDE CAUSING THE DRIVER TO LOOSE CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE.

Remedy

DEALERS WILL MODIFY THESE VEHICLES.

OWNER NOTIFICATION IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN OCTOBER 30, 2000.OWNERS WHO TAKE THEIR VEHICLES TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER ON AN AGREED UPON SERVICE DATE AND DO NOT RECEIVE THE FREE REMEDY WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME SHOULD CONTACT NABI AT 1-256-831-4296.
