2025 RAM 1500

The components that are malfunctioning is the windshield wipers (won't turn off), and the windshield wiper fluid won't work either, the turn signals (won't turn on), no high beams when this happens, my monitor will say something about no SOS calls, and something about the airbags not working. I've had to remove the fuse for the windshield wipers to stop them from scratching up my windshield when it's not raining, but I have no turn signals still so both not working is a huge safety risk to me and others. I took it to 3 different dealers, Council Bluffs, Iowa, they couldn't find anything and weren't interested unless I was buying a vehicle, then Denver, Co, they had it for like 3 or 4 days, they said because I disconnected the battery they couldn't find any codes, so that was a waste of time, but they did see I needed a transmission flush and oil change, so I ended up driving it back to the dealer I bought this POS from in Killeen, TX, they said it was the SCCM and that it needed to be replaced, so I waited like 4 or 5 days, when they said the vehicle was ready, i went to pick it up, I got like a mile away, and guess what the windshield wipers came on and I had no turn signals. This problem comes and goes, but it can happen at anytime while I'm driving. I bought this RAM in May of this year, this shouldn't be happening. All the dealer could say was sorry this is happening, that's not what any consumer want's to hear especially when it is a serious safety issue. These issues started at the end of July 2025 just over 2 months after I bought the vehicle, and are still currently happening.

My truck has an issue where the headlights do not turn on when I press the key fob while approaching the truck. This is at night only. The side mirror lights, rear cargo lights and interior lights activate however the headlights do not. This is an issue for personal safety when approaching the truck in the dark. There must be a glitch. The headlights will illuminate during the daytime when it is bright out or if the remote start is activated. The vehicle was seem by a Ram Dealership and no active recalls were present. Manufacturer Recall No. : D4B which addresses some headlight issues apparently did not effect my truck and no flash was done on the software. I feel that this is a major safety concern as I am unable to brightly see my surroundings when I approach my truck.

Front Airbags deployed without collision. Vehicle shut off and called police. Driver got severe laceration on face from driver airbag projectile. Vehicle was brought to RAM dealer and they recommended replacing all airbag components including ORC. The ORC did not have stored collision data. Attempted to open case with RAM/stellantis but they closed the case without investigating. THIS IS THE SECOND DEPLOYMENT WITHOUT A COLLISION.

The side airbags went off while driving with no impact. Driver sustained minor cuts and bruises from seat and curtain airbag. The vehicle shut off and automatically began calling the police. The vehicle was inspected by the RAM dealer and they refused to repair the vehicle stating that the vehicle detected a rollover (This did not happen). The insurance company found that the truck's airbag system was defective and required replacement of the faulty impact sensors. There were no warning lamps prior to the incident.

When applying brakes there is an audible chirping noise from the front driver side wheel well area. There is also a similar noise while driving (and not applying pressure to the brake pedal) when going over bumps/holes in the road. Concern initially reported to dealer in Spring of 2025, dealer confirmed hearing the noise under both situations listed. Dealer removed then greased and re-installed components in brake caliper. Noise subsided for a few months, however it has since returned. In addition there are now evident issues with braking ability when traveling at speed.

Purchased a 2025 Ram 1500 Rebel X ($82k MSRP, fully loaded) in May 2025 for family use and towing horse trailers in remote areas (solo female driver). At ~8,000 miles, it has had repeated electrical failures under warranty, creating safety hazards (shift lock, stranding risks, public safety impact). No Stellantis fix; Q4 2025 software promised. Video of Oct 10 incident available. Timeline: • May 2025: Took delivery. Used for errands, remote towing. • Sept 10, 2025 (~7,500 miles): Truck non-responsive in driveway (no fob/locks/dash/start). Blocked spouse’s SWAT vehicle, delaying emergency response (public safety hazard). Towed to dealer via Stellantis Customer Care. • Sept 11-12, 2025 (Visit #1, 2 days out): ‘Dead battery’ diagnosed; replaced. Issues continued to occur. • Sept 12 - Oct 10, 2025: Electrical issues impaired use: slow Uconnect screens (distraction); stuck radio volume; ‘Illumination Alert Unavailable’ (headlight issues); settings not saving (HUD/seats); locks cycling unprompted; proximity key unreliable (stranding risk). Lost trust for towing. • Oct 10, 2025 (~7,900 miles): In remote pasture after dark, cluster went black (no gauges); engine started but transmission locked in Park (‘D’ flashing). Stranded solo female driver (no cell service; tow inaccessible—severe safety risk). Restarts failed; sat 10 min, self-resolved. Video available. Drove home cautiously. • Oct 11, 2025 - Present Oct 14, 2025 (Visit #2, 10+ days): At dealer for cluster/shift/BCM issues. Prior issues noted. No ETA; no contact since Oct 14. Base-trim loaner inadequate. Electrical faults cause no-start, shift lock, stranding—risking emergencies. SWAT vehicle blockage was a major public safety hazard. No crashes/injuries, but repeated risks for female driver. Request NHTSA investigation/recall for 2025 Ram electrical systems.

The contact owns a 2025 Ram 1500. The contact stated that immediately after purchasing the vehicle, the contact experienced issues with the brakes. The contact stated that while driving at 80 MPH, several messages were displayed on the instrument panel. The ABS warning light and other unknown warning lights were illuminated. The brake pedal was depressed but traveled down to the floorboard, and the vehicle failed to respond immediately. The vehicle eventually came to a rolling stop. The contact was able to continue driving. The contact stated that the failure persisted. The contact stated that on a separate occasion, while reversing out of the driveway, several messages were displayed on the instrument panel. The vehicle was taken to the dealer. The contact stated that the brakes failed while at the dealer while an employee was test driving the vehicle. However, no cause for the failure was found. The dealer replaced the auxiliary battery, and the park assist module was reprogrammed. The contact stated that the failure persisted. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that the blind spot sensor had failed. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 1,504.

I do not believe my truck's forward collision warning and emergency braking work. I have had a few very close calls with rearending a vehicle in front of me and the truck did not brake automatically or give any collision warning. Also, the adaptive cruise control is set on the furthest distance, but it follows very closely to the vehicle in front of me. Like a 1.5 second length at the most. When I change the setting to follow closer, it will follow a vehicle within inches. I believe this causes a safety issue with a potential crash.
