The dealer advised that no repair was currently available, and the vehicle was not repaired.The dealer referred the contact to the manufacturer. The manufacturer was contacted but provided no assistance and referred the contact to the warranty company. Additionally, the manufacturer stated that the NHTSA was responsible for repairing the vehicle and directed the contact to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer, where an inspection identified an exhaust leak originating from the turbocharger and catalytic converter area. The dealer diagnosed the vehicle with defective exhaust clamps and gaskets, and the contact was informed that the issue was common with 2025 RAM models. The vehicle was repaired by replacing two gaskets. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 14,000.

The contact owns a 2025 Ram 1500. The contact stated that the check engine warning light was illuminated at start-up. The contact stated that the following day, the vehicle was taken to a dealer and was diagnosed with several cylinder misfires. An unknown repair was performed; however, the check engine warning light returned the following day. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer, and the contact was informed that there was a misfire in cylinder#2. The contact was informed that the mechanic had replaced the spark plugs and ignition coil in cylinder#2 and cleaned the fuel injector; however, the check engine warning light remained. The contact was initially informed that further diagnostic tests needed to be performed and that a loaner vehicle could not be provided. Approximately 30 minutes after the loaner vehicle request was denied, the contact was informed that the vehicle had been repaired, and the vehicle was returned to the contact. The following day, upon starting the vehicle, there was gasoline pouring from the engine. The dealer was notified of the failure, and the contact was given a number to have the vehicle towed to the dealer. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, and the contact was provided a case number. The vehicle was towed back to the dealer and remained with the dealer. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 1,200.

The contact stated that immediately after purchasing the vehicle, the vehicle experienced various electrical failures that included the vehicle not starting, and the message "Key Fob not in vehicle" was displayed. Additionally, the check engine warning light activated along with the message engine overheating. While driving at an undisclosed speed, the headlight flashed off and on, and the parking brake erroneously activated, causing the vehicle to shut off in traffic. The vehicle was taken on several occasions to be serviced; however, the failure recurred. No further information was available. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was offered. The failure mileage was 10.
