The turn signal switch activates the wipers sometimes. And sometimes the wipers ghost and run by themselves for no reason at all. This is very distracting and it has started to scratch the windshield. VERY DANGEROUS when travelling down the interstate at 70MPH and the wipers screech across the windshield all by themselves.......…

Heater Core Windshield fogging because of antifreeze fumes interfering with the HVAC Yes the issue has been confirmed by the dealer (Sansone Ram, NJ) I wasn't sure but kept smelling antifreeze in the cabin and the front windshield was interfering with my view in front of me. This Vehicle is a 2024 Ram 1500 with approx 46000 miles, just a little out of the basic warranty but this issue is not a wear and tear issue, way to early for this vehicle to have this kind of Problem.

I'm reaching out regarding my 2024 Ram 1500 that has approximately 45,850 miles. I was smelling anti freeze while heat was in the on position, along with the driver side front windshield fogging up immensely creating a visibility issue. (definitely a SAFETY ISSUE) I've been told by Sansone Ram in NJ that the heater core/HVAC has failed. I'm very familiar with automotives and know for sure that a heater core should not fail this early on a 2024 vehicle. This is clearly a PREMATURE FAILURE it's not normal wear and tear. This truck is still relatively new, has been maintained and serviced when needed with Sansone Ram in New Jersey. This should be a RECALL, this is NOT a wear and tear item especially the car is less then 3 years old with only 46000 miles. They are charging thousands of dollars because of a manufacturer Defect.....

What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? The passenger side wiper stopped wiping, the arm is not moving up and down, yes How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? This is causing the passenger side windshield to not be cleaned impairing visibility/blind spot that would cause an accident. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? Dealer saw the issue Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? Dealer said it would take 3 days, has not been inspected yet as this is my only work truck Were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? N/A, wiper arm just stopped moving one day

Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2019-2026 Ram 1500 vehicles. The second-row center and left-side seat belt buckle anchors may have been improperly installed. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 210, "Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages."

Consequence & remedy

Consequence: An improperly installed seat belt buckle anchor may fail to properly restrain occupants, increasing the risk of injury during a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will inspect and attach the seat belt buckle anchor to the body structure as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed August 18, 2026. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is 67D. Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2019 and 2023 Chrysler Pacifica, 2024 Ram 1500, Ram 2500, and 2024-2025 Jeep Wrangler vehicles. Contamination in the central vision processing module or improper programming may cause the rearview camera image not to display. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 111, "Rear Visibility."

Consequence & remedy

Consequence: A rearview image that does not display reduces the driver's view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will update the central vision processing module software or replace the module, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed beginning July 16, 2026. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is 46D. Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2019-2024 Ram 1500 vehicles. The driver's side air bag may not be connected properly, which can cause the air bag not to deploy as intended. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 208, "Occupant Crash Protection."

Consequence & remedy

Consequence: A driver's side air bag that does not deploy as intended increases the risk of injury in a crash.

Remedy: Dealers secured the connectors for the air bag, free of charge. All vehicles have been remedied. Owner notification letters were mailed May 27, 2025. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is 08C.

Consequence: Driving with a disabled electronic stability control system can increase the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will update the ABS control module software, free of charge. Interim notification letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, were mailed October 10, 2024.
