TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 PRINZING BARON. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 30 MPH, THE BRAKES FAILED. THE DEALER STATED THAT THERE WERE SEVERAL DEFECTS WITH THE VEHICLE; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE WAS DUE TO THE ABS LACKING A CONNECTOR. THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER STATED THAT THE REPAIRS WOULD NOT BE COVERED UNDER THE WARRANTY. THE VEHICLE ONLY HAS A 7 CHARACTER VIN. THE CURRENT MILEAGE IS 6,020 AND FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 10. UPDATED 11/17/08 *BF THE PASSENGER DOOR BECAME UNHINGED WHEN IT WAS OPENED AND DROPPED ABOUT 6 OR 8 INCHES. IT FREEZES IN POSITION PREVENTING EXIT OR ENTRY. WHEN THE VEHICLE ARRIVED TO THE CONSUMER, IT WOULD NOT START, ONCE IT DID START IT WOULD CUT OFF. THE BODY WELDS WERE POOR, THE EMERGENCY BRAKE WOULD NOT HOLD ON A SLIGHT INCLINE. THE ENGINE RAN ROUGH, THE WIRING UNDER THE DASH WAS A PROBLEM. THE BATTERY HAD A SHORT WHEN IT ARRIVED. THE STEERING HAD A BIND, THE TRANSMISSION HAD A LEAK, WHICH WAS TRACED TO THE COOLER LINES.
