2026 Polestar Polestar 4

I recently purchased this vehicle at McDonalds Polestar Denver. This vehicle is currently experiencing un-commanded, sudden emergency braking while reversing. The Rear Auto Brake (RAB) system frequently triggers a false positive, causing the vehicle to slam on its brakes violently as if hitting an "invisible wall" when no physical obstruction is present. Furthermore, the system consistently ignores the driver-selected override commands meant to disable this behavior. Front-line service personnel at Polestar Denver (McDonald Automotive) have informed me that "there is nothing they can do to help." They first told me Polestar should not sale these vehicles with a rear hitch for my bicycle rack and then says that this vehicle is not meant for a bike rack?? They say the vehicle is working properly and nothing is wrong! Then I am told that this is a problem created by the Federal Govt and there is nothing they can do.
