The contact owns a Typhoon Motorcycle Helmet, Model Number: TH129, Size: XS. The contact stated that the helmet had fallen off the motorcycle and was fractured. The contact stated that the inner padding and Styrofoam were fractured after the fall. There was a strip of tape two inches near the ear securing the helmet. There was no damage on the keypad. The helmet struck the pavement at approximately 6 miles per hour. The contact expressed concerns that the helmet was defective and unsafe to use, which could cause the owner to die in a crash. The contact stated that there was a DOT stamp on the helmet. The manufacturer was contacted by phone and via mail, but the contact had not received a response. The contact was blocked from purchasing from the manufacturer on eBay.
