25V008000 · Exterior Lighting

Jan 14, 2025

Palfinger, Inc. (Palfinger) is recalling certain 2017-2025 FHS 55 and GLS 55 vehicles. The outer rear marker lights were installed in the incorrect location. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

Consequence & remedy

Consequence: Incorrectly positioned lights can reduce the vehicle's visibility to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will install a steel plate and relocate the lights, free of charge. Owners may contact Palfinger customer service at 1-712-256-9347.
