TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 PACIFIC COACHWORKS TANGO. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE 30 AMP LAND CORD HAD OVER HEATED AND CAUGHT ON FIRE. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO EXTINGUISH THE FLAMES WITH A FIRE EXTINGUISHER. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE CONTACT INDICATED THE 30 AMP LAND CORD WAS PLUGGED INTO THE GENERATOR FOR APPROXIMATELY 6 HOURS BEFORE THE FAILURE OCCURRED. THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE WAS NOT DETERMINED. THE LOCAL DEALER BAYDOS RV ( 296 SW INTERSTATE AVE, CHEHALIS, WA 98532) WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 20,000.
