Recently I discovered that it's impossible for the home mechanic to check the transmission fluid level for the Nissan Sentra 2020 (and newer). No, I'm not talking about the removal of the transmission dipstick. What I am talking about is the fact that Nissan has removed the Overflow Tube that is found within the drain plug housing. The Overflow Tube existed for Sentras up until 2019. However, it was removed in 2020. Without the Overflow Tube it is impossible to verify that the transmission fluid level is correct.
