MY PATHFINDER HAS A BUILD DATE OF NOV. 2012. TWO TIMES NOW THE PASSENGER SEAT SENSOR HAS FAILED TO RECOGNIZE THAT AN ADULT IS OCCUPYING THE SEAT. IT CAN BE RESET BY STOPPING THE CAR, TURNING IT OFF GETTING OUT OF THE CAR, AND REENTERING AND START BACK UP. IT THEN WORKS AS NORMAL. THE DEALER TELLS ME IT IS NOT ONE OF THE ONES THAT HAS THIS PROBLEM AND HE WILL ONLY BE ABLE TO REPAIR WHEN HE CAN WITNESS IT. I SHOWED HIM A PICTURE WITH THE AIR BAG WARNING LIGHT ON AND THE SEAT OCCUPIED AT 70 MPH. I NOTICED IT AFTER EXITING A REST STOP ON I-10 AND DROVE TO THE NEXT REST STOP BEFORE STOPPING TO RESET. CHANGING SEATING POSITION WHILE DRIVING HAD NO EFFECT AT ALL. *TR

I RECENTLY PURCHASED A NEW 2013 NISSAN PATHFINDER SL. THE FIRST DAY THAT I SAT IN THE FRONT PASSENGER SEAT (DAY 2 OF OWNERSHIP), WHILE MY HUSBAND WAS DRIVING, THE FRONT PASSENGER AIR BAG LIGHT ILLUMINATED STATING THAT THE AIR BAG WAS OFF AND WOULD NOT DEPLOY IN A CRASH. I CALLED THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY STATED THAT IT WAS A KNOWN CALIBRATION PROBLEM WITH THE PATHFINDER'S SEAT SENSORS AND THAT THERE WAS NO RECALL ON MY CAR, BUT THAT IT NEEDED TO BE RECALIBRATED, WHICH IT WAS. AFTER HAVING THE CAR BACK FOR 1 WEEK, THE AIR BAG LIGHT WOULD COME ON INTERMITTENTLY WHILE I WAS SITTING IN THE FRONT PASSENGER SEAT EVEN THOUGH I WAS SEATED "PROPERLY" AS DESCRIBED IN THE USER'S MANUAL. THE CAR WENT BACK TO THE DEALER AND EVEN THOUGH THERE WAS NO RECALL ON MY PARTICULAR CAR, THEY REPLACED THE SEAT SENSORS BECAUSE IT WAS A "SAFETY ISSUE." TWO WEEKS AFTER HAVING THE CAR BACK THE LIGHT IS ONCE AGAIN COMING ON WHEN I SIT NORMAL AND UPRIGHT IN THE PASSENGER SEAT. THE HEAD TECHNICIAN AT THE DEALERSHIP IS NOW TELLING ME THAT THE CAR IS ACTING IN MY BEST INTEREST TO INTERMITTENTLY TURN OFF THE AIRBAG LIGHT WHEN I AM SEATED IN THE FRONT PASSENGER SEAT BECAUSE OF MY SIZE. I AM A 5'4, 120 LB FEMALE. I FEEL THAT IF I AM SITTING UPRIGHT IN THE CENTER OF THE SEAT, AS A NORMAL SIZE ADULT, THE AIRBAG SHOULD NOT BE DISENGAGED. IF IT IS CALIBRATED TO DISENGAGE FOR A 120LB ADULT SEATED PROPERLY, THEN IT SHOULD CONSISTENTLY DO SO, NOT INTERMITTENTLY TURN ON AND OFF WITHOUT A CHANGE IN POSITION. NISSAN HAS TOLD ME THAT IT IS FUNCTIONING PROPERLY AND THERE IS NOTHING MORE THAT CAN BE DONE. *TR

I PURCHASED MY 2013 NISSAN PATHFINDER, LESS THAN 6 MONTHS AGO. WE CURRENTLY HAVE 7100 MILES ON IT. WE HAVE NOT EVEN HAD OUR 2ND OIL CHANGE AND I HAVE ALREADY HAD IT IN THE SHOP 4 TIMES AND I HAVE TO TAKE IT IN TODAY FOR THE SAME ISSUE, DEALING WITH THE TRANSMISSION. AT ROUGHLY 1000 MILES, WE TOOK IT BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP IN KNOXVILLE TN DUE TO A STUTTERING WHEN COMING TO A STOP, PUTTING THE CAR IN PARK AND WHEN TAKING OFF FROM A STOP. WE WAS TOLD THIS WAS DUE TO THE NEW TRANSMISSION IN THE 2013 AND THE CAR WAS TRYING TO GET IN THE BEST GEAR FOR THE MOST EFFICIENT GAS MILEAGE. CAME TIME FOR OUR 1ST OIL CHANGE AT 3500 AND WE TOLD THEM TO CHECK THE STUTTER AGAIN AND WAS TOLD THAT IT WAS DUE TO THE TRANSMISSION, BUT THE COMPUTER WOULD CORRECT ITSELF. WE TOOK THE CAR BACK TO THE DEALER AT THE BEGINNING OF SEPT AND WAS GIVEN A RENTAL FOR 2 DAYS AND WAS TOLD THE PROBLEM WAS DUE TO THE TORQUE CONVERTER AND THEY WOULD REPLACE THE PART. THEY ALSO SAID THE FIXED THE AIRBAG RECALL AT THIS APPOINTMENT. AFTER 2 DAYS THE PART CAME IN AND THE VEHICLE WAS RETURNED IN 4 DAYS AFTER THE REPAIR. ON 9/26/13 THE VEHICLE WAS STILL STUTTERING WHEN I CAME TO A RED LIGHT ON A HILL. THE LIGHT TURNED GREEN AND I PRESSED THE GAS PEDAL AND THE CAR DID NOT MOVE, BUT THE ENGINE RPM MOVED. THEN THE CAR KICKED INTO GEAR AND MOVED. I CAME TO ANOTHER HILL AND THE VEHICLE WAS BARELY ABLE TO MAKE IT UP THE HILL. I CALLED THE DEALER AND THEY TOLD ME TO BRING IT IN ON TODAY, 9/27/13 TO HAVE IT CHECKED AGAIN. I AM WORRIED ABOUT THE SAFETY OF MY FAMILY DUE TO THESE PROBLEMS IN THE TRANSMISSION. *TR

SUBSEQUENT TO THE RECALL REPAIRS, WE HAVE ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS HAD THE AIRBAG OFF LIGHT ILLUMINATE WITH AN ADULT IN THE PASSENGER SEAT. THE PROBLEM IS INTERMITTENT. WE TOOK THE VEHICLE TO A DEALER. HE WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM AND UNWILLING TO PURSUE A REPAIR. HE CALLED NISSAN TECH SUPPORT AND PRINTED INFORMATION TO INSTRUCT US ON HOW THE SYSTEM OPERATES AND ON HOW TO SIT CORRECTLY IN THE SEAT. WE HAVE DRIVEN FOR MANY YEARS AND ARE AWARE OF HOW SEATS WORK. WE CALLED NISSAN TO ESCALATE THE ISSUE. CLEARLY, BASED ON OUR EXPERIENCE AND THE MULTIPLE COMPLAINTS ON THE NHTSA SITE, NISSAN HAS FAILED TO ADDRESS THIS SAFETY ISSUE. *TR

WE TOOK THE CAR TO THE NISSAN DEALER WHERE WE PURCHASED IT. THEY SAID THERE WAS A CAMPAIGN FOR THE PROBLEM AND WOULD ORDER A TORQUE CONVERTER. WE WERE TOLD IT WAS ON BACK ORDER. AFTER TWO AND HALF WEEKS THE PART WAS INSTALLED. THE DAY WE PICKED UP THE CAR IT STILL HAD THE SAME ISSUES.WE HAVE NOTIFIED THE DEALERSHIP OF THE CONTINUING PROBLEM. PROBLEM 2: THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG GOES ON AND OFF RANDOMLY, TURNING OFF THE AIRBAG. WE TOLD THE DEALERSHIP WHEN WE BROUGHT IT IN FOR THE SHUDDERING. THEY SAID IT WAS A WEIGHT LIMIT ISSUE AND THE WAY WE SIT. WE TOLD THEM IT DOES IT FOR OUR SON WHO WEIGHS 90 POUNDS AND THAT WE SIT THE SAME WAY EVERY TIME. WE ALSO TOLD THEM IT DOES IT FOR ME OFF AND ON IN THE SAME DAY AND THAT OUR WEIGHT DOESN'T FLUCTUATE THAT MUCH IN THE SAME DAY. WE WERE TOLD IT TESTED FINE, SO IT WILL NOT NEED REPAIR. JUST THIS MORNING I GOT IN THE PASSENGER SIDE THE LIGHT WAS OFF, WE WENT INTO A STORE AND WHEN I GOT BACK IN THE CAR THE LIGHT WAS ON. I HAVE TOLD THE DEALERSHIP ABOUT THIS AGAIN TODAY. *TR

NOW THE BRAKES WILL GO TO THE FLOOR MORE WHEN BEING PRESSED AND THE VEHICLE WILL START ROLLING SO YOU HAVE TO PUSH HARDER ON THE BRAKES. JUST YESTERDAY THE MILEAGE THAT IS SUPPOSE TO BE MOVING WHILE DRIVING TO SHOW HOW MANY MPG YOU ARE GETTING WENT ALL THE WAY UP AND STAYED THERE THE WHOLE TIME I DROVE. THERE IS NO WAY I WAS GETTING LIKE 50 MILES PER GALLON GOING 45MPH. I TRY TO GET MY VEHICLE IN TO THE NISSAN DEALER WHERE I GOT IT FROM IN LAS CRUCES, NM AND I KEEP NOT GETTING ANSWERS OR MORE EXCUSED OF WHAT IS NOT WRONG WITH MY VEHICLE. HOW DO THEY KNOW THEY ARE NOT DRIVING IT? I AM VERY UNHAPPY AND WILL BE CHANGING VEHICLES SOON! *JS

AS SOON AS I LEFT THE DEALERSHIP, NOT EVEN A MILE AWAY, THE LIGHT CAME BACK ON WITHOUT ANYONE EVEN IN THE SEAT. I HAVE BEEN BACK TO MY DEALER AT LEAST 8 TIMES, I HAVE HAD THE SCALE CALIBRATED, A NEW SEAT PUT IN, THE RECALL FIXED, AND IT'S STILL COMING ON. MY DEALER RECOMMEND THAT IF THE LIGHT COMES ON WHILE DRIVING I SHOULD JUST PULL OVER ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD, TURN THE CAR OFF, AND THEN RESTART IT. MOST RECENTLY I HAD THE CAR IN FOR REPAIR ON JULY 25TH, AND ON AUGUST 22ND, THE LIGHT CAME BACK ON. I HAVE BEEN WITHOUT MY BRAND NEW CAR FOR AT LEAST 2 WEEKS IN THE TIME THAT I HAVE OWNED IT FOR THEM TO "REPAIR IT". *TR

PURCHASED A NEW 2013 NISSAN PATHFINDER AND IMMEDIATELY ON THE DRIVE HOME NOTICED AN ISSUE WITH THE PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG. 1) THE PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG "OFF" LIGHT STAYS LIT WHEN AN INDIVIDUAL IS IN THE PASSENGER SIDE FOR THE DURATION OF THE RIDE. 2) THE SUPPLEMENTAL AIRBAG WARNING LIGHT ON DASHBOARD STAYS FLASHING FOR THE DURATION OF THE RIDE. TOOK TO THE DEALERSHIP IN NORTH HAVEN, CT WHERE WE PURCHASED. THEIR DIAGNOSIS WAS THAT WE DID NOT ENTER THE CAR PROPERLY. WE NEEDED TO BOTH ENTER THE CAR, FASTEN OUR SEATBELTS, THEN TURN ON THE CAR FOR THE PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG TO BE FUNCTIONAL. ENTERING THE VEHICLE AS ADVISED BY THE SERVICE TECHNICIAN DID IN FACT ALLOW THE PASSENGER AIRBAG "OFF" LIGHT TO BE TURNED OFF AND THE FLASHING WARNING ON THE DASHBOARD TO DISAPPEAR. I VIEW THIS AS A HUGE SAFETY ISSUE. THE PURPOSE OF THE PASSENGER AIRBAG SENSOR IS FOR IT TO BE OPERATIONAL WHEN WEIGHT IS APPLIED TO THE PASSENGER SEAT NOT FOR IT TO FUNCTION ONLY WHEN YOU FASTEN YOUR SEATBELT BEFORE STARTING THE VEHICLE. I SAID TO THE SERVICE MANAGER ?SO YOU ARE SAYING THAT THE PASSENGER AIRBAG WILL NOT OPERATE IF ANYONE ENTERS THE PASSENGER SIDE WHILE THE CAR IS RUNNING? WHAT ARE MOTHERS SUPPOSED TO DO WHEN THEY PICK UP THEIR CHILD IN AN IDLING VEHICLE?? HIS RESPONSE WAS ?I GUESS THEY WILL NEED TO PULL OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD, TURN THE CAR OFF, THEN TURN IT BACK ON FOR THE AIRBAG TO FUNCTION.? THE RECALL ON THE EARLY 2013 MODELS OF THE PATHFINDER SHOULD BE EXPANDED. THIS ISSUE NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED. *TR

22V420000 · Latches/locks/linkages:hood:latch

Jun 13, 2022

Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain 2013-2016 Pathfinder vehicles. On certain Pathfinder vehicles, the secondary hood latch may malfunction and remain in the unlatched, unsecured, position when the hood is closed.

Consequence & remedy

Consequence: An unsecured hood could unexpectedly open while driving, obstructing the driver's view, and increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will replace the bell crank assembly, free of charge. Owner letters were mailed March 26, 2025. Owners may contact Nissan's customer service at 1-800-867-7669. Nissan's number for this recall are R22A2 R22A3 and R24B7.

Jan 20, 2021

Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain 2013-2015 Nissan Pathfinder vehicles. The location of the brake light switch may cause the brake light switch relay to repeatedly open and close. Overtime, this can cause the relay to stick in the "ON" position, with the brake lights remaining illuminated even when the brakes are not applied. Additionally, this may interfere with the brake-shift interlock, allowing the driver to shift the vehicle out of the "Park" position, without depressing the brake pedal.

Consequence & remedy

Consequence: Continual illumination of the brake lights can prevent other drivers from realizing the vehicle is actually slowing down, increasing the risk of a crash. With the brake override activated, the driver will not be able to accelerate normally, increasing the risk of a crash. The driver can shift the vehicle out of the "PARK" position without depressing the brake, allowing the vehicle to rollaway, increasing the risk of injury.

Remedy: Nissan will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and, as necessary, either re-install the brake light switch or swap positions with the Automatic Speed Control Device (ASCD) switch; depending on the model year vehicle. In addition, the brake light relay will be replaced with a new one. All repairs will be performed free of charge. The recall began March 1, 2021. Owners may contact Nissan customer service at 1-800-867-7669. Nissan's number for this recall PC786. Note: this recall supersedes 16V-380.

May 31, 2016

Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain model year 2013-2014 Pathfinder vehicles manufactured June 20, 2012, to June 13, 2013. The brake light switch may have been installed incorrectly causing the relay to make intermittent contact and repeatedly cycle. This may result in the relay remaining in the "ON" position, causing the brake lights to remain illuminated even when the brakes are not applied. Additionally, the brake light switch may interfere with the brake-shift interlock, allowing the driver to shift the vehicle out of the "Park" position, without depressing the brake pedal.

Consequence & remedy

Consequence: If the brake override is activated, the driver will not be accelerate normally, increasing the risk of a crash. If the brake lights remain illuminated, other drivers may fail to stop when the vehicle actually brakes, increasing the risk of a crash. If the driver inadvertently shift the vehicle out of the "PARK" position without depressing the brake, the vehicle may rollaway, increasing the risk of injury.

Remedy: Nissan will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the brake light switch and, as necessary, replace the relay, free of charge. The recall began on July 25, 2016. Owners may contact Nissan customer service at 1-800-647-7261.

16V244000 · Air Bags:sensor:occupant Classification

Apr 26, 2016

Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain model year 2016-2017 Nissan Maxima, 2013-2016 Nissan Altima, NV200, LEAF, Sentra, and Pathfinder, 2014-2016 Nissan NV200 Taxi, Infiniti QX60, QX60 Hybrid, and Q50 Hybrid, 2014-2017 Nissan Rogue and Infiniti Q50, 2015-2016 Nissan Murano, Murano Hybrid, and Chevrolet City Express, 2014-2015 Nissan Pathfinder Hybrid, and 2013 Infiniti JX35 vehicles. In these vehicles, the front seat passenger Occupant Classification System (OCS) may incorrectly classify an adult passenger as a child or classify the seat as empty despite it being occupied. As a result, the passenger frontal air bag may be turned off and not deploy in the event of a crash.

Consequence & remedy

Consequence: If the passenger frontal air bag does not deploy as intended in the event of a crash, the passenger is at an increased risk of injury.

Remedy: Nissan will notify their owners. Chevrolet City Express owners will be notified by General Motors. Dealers will reprogram the Air Bag Control Unit (ACU) and OCS Electronic Control Unit (ECU) in Altima, Maxima, Murano, Rogue, and Sentra vehicles, and replace the OCS ECU in LEAF, NV200, NV200 Taxi, Pathfinder, Infiniti Q50, JX35, and QX60 and Chevrolet City Express vehicles, free of charge. Interim notices were sent to owners on May 31, 2016. Owners will receive a second notice when remedy parts become available. Owners may contact Nissan customer service at 1-800-867-7669, Infiniti customer service at 1-888-833-3216 or Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020.

The secondary latch may remain in the open position when the hood is closed.

Consequence & remedy

Consequence: If the primary hood latch is released and the secondary latch fails during operation of the vehicle, it could cause the hood to open during vehicle operation impairing the driver's vision, increasing the risk of a vehicle crash.

Remedy: Nissan will notify owners, and dealers will modify the angle of the hood release mechanism to provide additional length to the release cable, free of charge. The recall began on March 9, 2015. Owners may contact Nissan customer service at 1-800-647-7261.

The Office of Defects Investigation (ODI) opened this preliminary evaluation to investigate consumer complaints alleging hood latch failures occurring on certain model year (MY) 2013-2016 Nissan Pathfinder vehicles. Complaints received indicated a sudden and unexpected opening of the hood while the vehicle was in motion, blocking the driver's visibility.During this investigation Nissan collected parts from the field to analyze for root cause of the alleged failures. On June 13, 2022, Nissan submitted a Defect Information Report (DIR) to NHTSA regarding a hood bell crank assembly defect in certain MY2013-2016 Nissan Pathfinder vehicles produced at the Smyrna, TN plant. According to Nissan's DIR, an accumulation of dust and dirt contamination on and around the bell crank lever pivot joint, which actuates the secondary hood latch, can create a condition that can cause the lever to remain in the open position after it has been disengaged. In this condition, the secondary hood latch may not hold the hood closed as designed while the vehicle is in motion obstructing the driver's forward view and increasing the risk of a crash.A remedy plan for all affected vehicles is currently under development. See recall action 22V-420 for further details. Nissan's action resolves the issues raised by this investigation, and therefore, this investigation is closed. The VOQs cited above can be found with ID numbers: 11456378, 11448298, 11436637, 11431131, 11427702, 11423321, 11406574, 11398825, 11389741, 11387952, 11375938, 11349105,11306735, 11302647, 11190468, 11166607.

In April 2014, Nissan North America launched Safety Recall 14V-138 to address problems with the Occupant Classification System (OCS) algorithm in the following vehicles: model year (MY) 2013-2014 Nissan Altima, Pathfinder, Sentra and LEAF; MY 2013 Infiniti JX35; MY 2014 Infiniti QX60 and Q50; and MY 2013 Nissan NV 200/Taxi vehicles.According to Nissan, the OCS may misclassify adult front passenger occupants and turn off the passenger's frontal air bag for an adult occupant of sufficient weight.In March 2015, the Office of Defects Investigation (ODI) opened this Recall Query after the agency received approximately 124 complaints alleging problems with the OCS after the recall repairs and/or other OCS related repairs were made by Nissan/Infiniti dealers.The majority of the complaints alleged the passenger air bag status light stays on (i.e., indicating passenger air bag is turned off) for adult front passengers of sufficient weight.Many of the complaints stated the dealers have made multiple repairs but the problem still persists.In its June 2015 response to ODI's information request under the Recall Query, Nissan provided approximately 1,121 complaints and field reports on the recalled vehicles.These reports alleged OCS issues similar to the NHTSA reports described above.At this time, NHTSA has received a total of approximately 208 complaints (note: total of 1,271 reports shown in the table above eliminates 58 duplicative reports received by ODI and manufacturer).This Recall Query has been upgraded to an Engineering Analysis (EA15-004) to conduct a comparative assessment and further evaluate the effectiveness of the recall remedy which will include a thorough review of the countermeasures taken by Nissan and its suppliers.The ODI reports cited above can be reviewed online at http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/owners/SearchNHTSAID under the following identification numbers:10583283 10585264 10585349 10585379 10592434 10593399 10593501 10594329 10594614 10594755 10595161 10595645 10595946 10596128 10596459 10596952 10597037 10597452 10597518 10597719 10598537 10598869 10604755 10604834 10605188 10605251 10606565 10606828 10607038 10609649 10610519 10610991 10614467 10614609 10614745 10616905 10617008 10617507 10617903 10618099 10618202 10619059 10619563 10620719 10621840 10622214 10625808 10625981 10625998 10626006 10626023 10626335 10626458 10626732 10628355 10629382 10629460 10629606 10630441 10630502 10630990 10632251 10632588 10632934 10632997 10633714 10633810 10637994 10638591 10639040 10639147 10639324 10639473 10643046 10643843 10644203 10644333 10644341 10644690 10644891 10644985 10648834 10648997 10649414 10649772 10649874 10651360 10651564 10651924 10651982 10652024 10658665 10658844 10659484 10660294 10661195 10661358 10661541 10661795 10661855 10662901 10663033 10663338 10663860 10663978 10668054 10668768 10670538 10672807 10673088 10676471 10678478 10678997 10679512 10680748 10680769 10680975 10681656 10682235 10682902 10682993 10683391 10683689 10689672 10689809 10689981 10691626 10692137 10692558 10692625 10693168 10695312 10700614 10700960 10701008 10701011 10701014 10701018 10701023 10701027 10701031 10701032 10701035 10701045 10701055 10701064 10701074 10701146 10701196 10701228 10701237 10701254 10701301 10701306 10701326 10701367 10701370 10701384 10701415 10701453 10701526 10701558 10701656 10701670 10701946 10702003 10702667 10702798 10703032 10703657 10703766 10703813 10704196 10704988 10705530 10705919 10706621 10712543 10712568 10712575 10713335 10714316 10714330 10714536 10714980 10715132 10715945 10717336 10720918 10720971 10721331 10721746 10723424 10724568 10731167 10731868 10732012 10732065

On March 25, 2014, Nissan North America (Nissan) submitted a Defect Information Report to NHTSA describing a defect of inadequate hose clamping force that may result in the internal transmission oil cooler (ITOC) hose detaching from the cooler.According to Nissan, transmission fluid leakage from a detached ITOC hose results in a progressive series of symptoms beginning with malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) illumination, followed by noise and vibration and culminating in loss of power due to transmission failure. Many of the incident vehicle drivers interviewed by ODI indicated that the loss of power occurred soon after the first symptoms were observed. The recall covers approximately 3,065 Pathfinder vehicles built from the start of MY 2013 production on April 18, 2012, through October 3, 2012, when Nissan implemented several production improvements to address concerns with ITOC hose detachment.Infiniti JX vehicles investigated in PE13-029 are not included in the recall as they are equipped with a different CVT transmission with a lower operating pressure.Owners of all potentially affected vehicles will be notified within 60 days to take their vehicles to a Nissan dealer. The dealer will install an oil hose repair kit at no charge to owners.ODI's analysis of failure data for the 3,065 Pathfinder vehicles that are included in Nissan's recall identified 12 Vehicle Owner Questionnaires (VOQs), 134 Nissan complaints and field reports and 259 warranty claims. This equates to a complaint/field report rate of 47.6 incidents per thousand vehicles (IPTV) and a warranty claim rate of 8.5 percent. The failure rates for the 120,474 subject vehicles that are not included in the recall are much lower, with complaint rates of 0.4 and 0.8 IPTV and warranty claim rates of 0.1 and 0.2 percent for the remaining MY 2013 Pathfinder and JX vehicles, respectively. This investigation is closed. The VOQ numbers associated with this closing are: 10558389, 10556011, 10546402, 10545032, , 10531793, 10509314, 10507077, 10503884, 10500834, 10499362, 10497685, 10496606, 10494583, 10493759, 10493701, 10490959.
