TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 NISSAN MAXIMA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE PARKING AT LOW SPEEDS, THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED LIGHTLY AND THE VEHICLE ACCELERATED WITH EXTREME FORCE. THE CONTACT CRASHED INTO THE CENTER DRIVER'S SIDE OF ANOTHER VEHICLE CAUSING THAT VEHICLE TO CRASH INTO THE FRONT DRIVER'S SIDE FRONT DOOR OF ANOTHER VEHICLE. THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. A POLICE REPORT WAS NOT FILED AND THERE WERE NO INJURIES REPORTED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE.
