ON MAY 2000 WE NOTICED THAT ONE OF THE FRONT TIRES HAD A TARE IN THE SIDEWALL AREA. WE WENT TO A GOOD YEAR DEALER AND THEY INDICATED THAT THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT CAUSED THE TARE. TWO MONTH LATER WHILE WASHING THE CAR WE FOUND TWO MORE TIRES TORN THE SAME WAY THE PREVIOUS TIRE WAS TORN. THE NISSAN DEALER SERVICE DEPARTMENT SAYS THAT THIS IS A GOOD YEAR PROBLEM. THE GOOD YEAR DEALER SERVICE PEOPLE ARE SAYING THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT CAUSES THIS TARE. WE COULD HAVE HERE A SIMILAR PROBLEM WITH A POORLEY MANUFACTERED TIRE WHICH IS A DANGER TO MY LIFE AND MANY OTHER AMERICAN. I HAVE A VIDEO OF THE TARE ON ONE OF THE THREE TIRES AND IF YOU WOULD LIKE I CAN SUBMIT TO YOU. THIS PROBLEM IS VERY DANGEROUS BECAUSE IF NOT SEEN EARLY IT CAN CAUSE BLOWOUT AND BAD ACCIDENTS.
