I purchased a 2020 Newmar Dutchstar RV on [XXX] and first noticed the Tire Pressure Monitoring Sytem (TPMS) start to malfunction shortly after. The first indication of the malfunction were nuisance warnings stating tire overheat conditions, followed by constant communication warnings and multiple tires not indicating anything at all. The current state of the TPMS as of today [XXX] is it does not function at all with a constant communication error displayed on the dash panel. I received SF644A-C from DTNA in March 2022 stating the TPMS controller software required an update and some antenna modifications were required. I received FL935A-C and NHTSA #22V-379 in July 2022 stating the same information as the previous notification. I contacted my Freightliner service center, Transwest Truck Center in Fontana California (909) 770-5170 to request an appointment to have the safety recall completed. They stated they were waiting on software and parts from Freightliner. I finally got an appointment on 1-23-2023 to have the recall completed. The recall was completed the next day and when I picked up the vehicle the TPMS was still malfunctioning (same Issues) so I left the vehicle for additional repairs. I picked the vehicle up again on 1-27-2023 and the TPMS was still malfunctioning, but I could leave the vehicle for additional service due to a scheduled trip. My opinion only: The software update appears to ignore the low/high pressure and over temp warnings. Every year during annual service, I ask Transwest to look into the TPMS issue and they stated that Freightliner has not provided any additional guidance. I have called Freightliner 24/7 and they stated they are not aware of any issues. I don’t know what else I can do to get this issue resolved so I am attempting to file this claim with NHTSA. The contact stated that while the RV was parked and occupied, the contact attempted to start the RV and became aware that the instrument panel was displaying a black screen. The dealer was contacted. The RV was not taken to a dealer nor an independent mechanic to be diagnosed. The RV was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that the RV was out of warranty. The approximate failure mileage was 27,000.

Passenger entry door seal has failed and window is fogged making lane changing or viewing very difficult and unsafe. I have tried to contact Newmar and their reply was giving me a statement that my coach is out of warranty and I need to contact a 3rd party vendor for replacement at my cost. I would think a window separation would be a concern for Newmar Corp. I have read many other complaints from Newmar owners.

The dash displaying the instrument panel is bubbling up and it prevents you from reading your instruments. The glare it causes is dangerous. Hearing from other customers that own the same RV tells me this is a common issue and there should be a recall.

Newmar Corporation (Newmar) is recalling certain 2019-2022 Bay Star, Bay Star Sport, Ventana, Dutch Star, New Aire, Canyon Star, 2019 Ventana LE, 2020-2022 Kountry Star, 2019-2020 Mountain Aire, London Aire, Essex, and 2021 Super Star vehicles. The wiring under the seats may be incorrectly secured, which can lead to a pinched wire in the seat adjustment mechanism and cause an electrical short circuit.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: A short circuit increases the risk of a fire.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect and secure the wiring, adding circuit breaker and fuse protection as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on June 10, 2022. Owners may contact Newmar's customer service at 1-800-731-8300.

Newmar Corporation (Newmar) is recalling certain 2019-2021 London Aire, Dutch Star, Essex, King Aire, Mountain Aire, 2020-2021 Ventana, and 2021 New Aire recreational vehicles. The instrument cluster may intermittently go blank while the vehicle is in motion.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: A blank instrument cluster display may be missing critical information such as the vehicle's speed and warning lights, which can increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will update the control module software, and reroute and secure the ductwork, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on November 8, 2021. Owners may contact Newmar's customer service at 1-800-731-8300.

The sealing washer may not seat correctly in the pilot boreholes, allowing the high-pressure fuel rail assembly to leak.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire.
Remedy: Cummins service centers will inspect the rail threads and fuel lines, and replace the rail as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on August 24, 2021. Newmar Corporation (Newmar) is recalling certain 2021 Kountry Star and 2017-2021 Dutch Star motorhomes. The brake light switch may chafe against the windshield wiper mechanism, which could damage the brake light switch or it's wiring, and cause the brake lights to not illuminate.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: If the brake lights do not illuminate, other motorists will be unaware of the driver's intention, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Newmar will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the brake light switch and replace it as necessary, free of charge. The recall began on April 12, 2021. Owners may contact Newmar customer service at 1-800-731-8300.

Newmar Corporation (Newmar) is recalling certain 2019-2020 Bay Star and Ventana, 2019 Ventana LE, 2020 Canyon Star, Dutch Star, Kountry Star and Super Star and 2021 Bay Star Sport motorhomes equipped with Dometic 3 burner cooking stoves. The stove's saddle valve securing bolt may be overtightened, possibly damaging the o-ring seal and causing a continuous gas leak.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: A gas leak can increase the risk of a fire.
Remedy: Newmar will notify owners, and dealers will install a remedy kit of gaskets, washers, thread locker bolts, and two round orange labels, free of charge. The recall began January 18, 2021. Newmar Corporation (Newmar) is recalling certain 2019 Essex, King Aire, London Aire, Mountain Aire, and 2020 Dutch Star motorhomes. The brake relay valve may have an air flow restriction due to a partially blocked orifice, which may lead to extended stopping distance. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 121, "Air Brake Systems."
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: An increase in stopping distance without warning increases the risk of crash.
Remedy: Newmar will notify owners, and Spartan dealers will inspect and replace the brake relay valve, if necessary, free of charge. The recall began June 20, 2019.
