WHENEVER VEHICLE RAN OVER A ROUGH ROAD/ POT HOLES OR BUMPS, IT CAUSED REAR WHEELS TO WANDER ACROSS THE ROAD. MANUFACTURER NOTIFIED. *AK THE SWAYING OF THE VEHICLE CAUSED THE SWAY BAR TO BREAK. AFTER THE REPAIRS WERE MADE THE VEHICLE HANDLED BETTER BUT THERE WERE STILL PROBLEMS. WHEN CHECKED, IT WAS FOUND THAT THE SPRINGS WERE …

AFTER THE REPAIRS WERE MADE THE VEHICLE HANDLED BETTER BUT THERE WERE STILL PROBLEMS. WHEN CHECKED, IT WAS FOUND THAT THE SPRINGS WERE ONLY RATED FOR 9,300 LBS. THE REAR AXLE IS RATED AT 11,00 LBS. *JG

99V279000 · Fuel System, Other:storage:tank Assembly:mounting

VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: MOTOR HOMES EQUIPPED WITH A MODEL 1546 LIQUID PROPANE GAS (LPG) TANK INSTALLED. THE TANK BRACKET CAN FAIL AND COULD SUBSEQUENTLY DETACH COMPLETELY FROM THE VEHICLE.

Consequence & remedy

Consequence: THIS COULD CAUSE A FIRE.

Remedy: DEALERS WILL INSTALL BOLT-ON BRACKETS.
