26V593000 · Electrical System:wiring

Sep 11, 2026

Corp. Micro Bird, Inc. (Micro Bird) is recalling certain 2025-2026 G5e transit buses. A wiring harness may have been incorrectly routed. A metal bracket may contact and damage the harness, causing a loss of drive power.

Consequence & remedy

Consequence: A loss of driver power increases the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Micro Bird will inspect, replace, and properly secure the wiring harness as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed November 10, 2026. Owners can contact Micro Bird's Customer Service at 819-477-2012. Micro Bird's number for this recall is 26-122-HUC.

25V902000 · Steering:hydraulic Power Assist:pump

Corp. Micro Bird, Inc. (Micro Bird) is recalling certain 2018-2019, 2024-2026 G5E transit buses. The power steering pump may fail to start when the ignition is turned on or may shutdown unexpectedly.

Consequence & remedy

Consequence: A loss of power steering assist can increase the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will inspect and update the software as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 18, 2026. Owners can contact Micro Bird Customer Service at 819-477-2012. Micro Bird's number for this recall is 25-119-PUC.
