The steering and suspension system appears to be malfunctioning. The vehicle consistently pulls to the right during normal driving and does not track straight when the steering wheel is held centered. This condition requires constant steering correction and affects vehicle stability and control. My safety and the safety of others are put at risk, particularly at highway speeds or during emergency maneuvers, where unintended lane deviation may occur. The issue is repeatable and occurs on straight, flat roads at both city and highway speeds. The vehicle has been inspected multiple times by an authorized Mercedes-Benz dealership, including alignment checks, but the condition has not been corrected. No warning lights or dashboard messages were displayed prior to or during the occurrence of this issue. The vehicle remains available for inspection upon request.
Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC (MBUSA) is recalling certain 2024-2026 AMG GT, C-Class, E-Class, SL, CLE, and GLC vehicles. The infotainment control unit may reset while the vehicle is in motion and cause the instrument panel display to go blank.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: An instrument panel display that fails to show critical safety information, such as the speedometer and warning lights, increases the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will update the infotainment control unit software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 29, 2026. MBUSA's number for this recall is 2026050004. Remedy: Owners are advised not to drive their vehicles until the remedy has been performed. Dealers will replace the rear axle carrier, free of charge.
