REAR AXLE MUST BE RERATED FROM ITS PRESENT 21,200 LBS. GAWR TO 20,000 LBS. AS THE MAXIMUM LOAD CARRYING CAPACITY OF THE AXLE TO COMPLY WITH FMVSS 121.
Consequence: TRUCKS DO NOT COMPLY WITH STANDARD.
Remedy: RERATE REAR AXLE TO 20,000 GAWR.
