TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 1997 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 65 MPH, THE ENGINE STALLED WITHOUT PRIOR WARNING. THE ENGINE RESTARTED AND THE CONTACT RESUMED DRIVING. THE PCM WAS REPLACED BY AN AUTHORIZED DEALER ON THREE DIFFERENT TIMES AS A RESULT TO THE CONSTANT MALFUNCTION. THE PCM WAS ALSO REPLACED TWICE BY AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC. THE SIMILAR FAILURE RECURRED RECENTLY. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED FOR THE MOST RECENT MALFUNCTION.
