I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE INTERSTATE AND THE ROOF OF THE TRAILER FLEW OFF. IT APPEARS THE TOP METAL SHEET WAS HELD BY ONLY A THIN LAYER OF CAULK OR PUDDY AS THERE ARE NO SCREWS TO SECURE WHERE THE ROOF SHOULD HAVE BEEN. THIS WOULD HAVE KILLED SOMEONE IF THERE WAS ANYONE BEHIND ME. IT IS A 2019 WITH LITTLE USE THAT I PURCHASED LESS …

LGS Industries Inc. (LGS) is recalling certain 2017-2020 Look, Pace, And Cargo Express trailers. The axle hanger bracket may fail, possibly resulting in the axle shifting.

Consequence & remedy

Consequence: A bracket failures could affect the vehicle's stability, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: LGS will notify owners, and dealers will weld gussets on both ends of the hanger bracket to provide reinforcement, if necessary, free of charge. The recall began October 3, 2019. Owners may contact LGS customer service at 1-877-475-5665.

18V201000 · SUSPENSION:REAR:AXLE:NON-POWERED Axle Assembly

LGS Industries Inc (LGS) is recalling certain 2018 Look, Pace, and Cargo Express cargo trailers. The spindle weld on the axle may fail, causing separation of the spindle and pipe.

Consequence & remedy

Consequence: If the spindle weld fails causing separation of the spindle and pipe, it can lead to loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: LGS will notify owners, and dealers will replace the axle assemblies, free of charge. The recall began on April 13, 2018. Owners may contact LGS customer service at 1-877-475-5665.
