THE FRONT SEATS IN THE 2017 LEXUS NX MODELS ARE FIXED AND SLANTING FORWARD TO A VERY UNCOMFORTABLE ANGLE, THIS PICTURE IS FROM AN ADD ON THE LEXUS SIGHT. IT IS VERY UNCOMFORTABLE AND MANY PEOPLE HAVE COMPLAINTS ONLINE. THIS SEAT POSITION PROMOTES POOR POSTURE AND FATIGUE WHEN DRIVING MORE THAN 30 MINUTES. THE CANADIAN MODELS OF SAME CAR BUT HAVE ADJUSTABLE HEAD RESTS, FOR THE US OWNERS THIS IS $700 PER HEAD REST BUT NOT AVAILABLE TO US RESIDENTS. LEXUS WILL NOT DO ANYTHING AND THE CORPORATE OFFICE ONLY CALLS YOU BACK TO SAY THERE IS NOTHING THEY CAN DO OR WILL DO. I THINK IT IS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME BEFORE SOMEONE IS SERIOUSLY INJURED DUE TO THIS BAD NECK POSITION....IF YOU ARE IN A REAR END COLLISION IN THIS VEHICLE I CAN ONLY ASSUME YOU WILL HAVE A NECK INJURY AND POSSIBLE PARALYSIS. SOMETHING MUST ME DONE. ON LINE OTHERS COMPLAINING OF THIS SAME ISSUE ARE TAKING THE REAR HEAD RESTS AND INSTALLING THEM ON THE FRONT SEATS BECAUSE OF THIS PROBLEM. I AM NOT SURE THIS IS A SAFE ALTERNATIVE.
