AS I WAS COMING TO A STOP AT A STOP SIGN, THE VEHICLE JUST SKIDDED SIDEWAYS THROWING ME ON THE ROAD RESULTING IN MINOR INJURIES AND DAMAGES TO THE VEHICLE. HAD THERE BEEN OTHER VEHICLES ON THE ROAD, THE INJURIES MIGHT HAVE BEEN MUCH SEVER…

I WAS RIDING THE SAID SCOOTER ON WET PAVEMENT (NOT RAIN) ON A 25 MILE PER HOUR SIDE STREET. AS I WAS COMING TO A STOP AT A STOP SIGN, THE VEHICLE JUST SKIDDED SIDEWAYS THROWING ME ON THE ROAD RESULTING IN MINOR INJURIES AND DAMAGES TO THE VEHICLE. HAD THERE BEEN OTHER VEHICLES ON THE ROAD, THE INJURIES MIGHT HAVE BEEN MUCH SEVERE. THIS IS AN ALMOST NEW VEHICLE WITH ONLY 528 MILES ON IT AND THE TIRES INFLATED TO SPECIFICATION. ON FURTHER INVESTIGATION, ON FORUMS, IT SEEMS LIKE THE HENG SHIN TIRES ISSUED ON THIS VEHICLE DO NOT HAVE WET TRACTION. SUCH A PRODUCT SHOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN RELEASED TO THE PUBLIC AS ROADWORTHY WITHOUT PROPER TESTING.
