TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 KTM 690 ENDURO MOTORCYCLE. THE CONTACT STATED THE REAR BRAKE DISC WAS PREMATURELY WORN OUT. A DEALER WAS NOT IN THE AREA; THEREFORE, THE MOTORCYCLE BRAKE DISC AND BRAKE PADS WERE SENT TO THE DEALER FOR INSPECTION. THE DEALER INSPECTED AND MEASURED THE PARTS, RETURNED THE DISC AND PADS STATING THEY WERE NOT DEFECTIVE BUT COULD LAST ANOTHER 7,000 MILES. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED REGARDING THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 7,500.
