The reverse camera remains engaged even after shifting to drive. This can remain after 10-20 seconds. As I started to drive forward, the camera remained engaged and hit on moving cars behind me causing the vehicle to emergency brake even though nothing was in front of me. Almost causing an accident

The contact owns a 2023 Kia Telluride. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the accelerator pedal was depressed, but the vehicle hesitated while responding. The dealer and the manufacturer were not made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 500.
Driving down the road and I heard a crack/pop and noticed a dime sized chip in the windshield on the passenger side. No other vehicles nearby to attribute to a rock or something similar.
Windshield failed on the way home from the dealership after small impact. Passenger side window developed cracks at 486 odometer miles. Windshield failed on the way home from the dealership after small impact. Passenger side window developed cracks at 486 odometer miles. The windshield chip spread beyond repair during the 6-week warranty claim process in which the claim was denied on 3/8/2023. The side window never took an impact. As shown in the photo's the crack is covered by the sideview mirror and just behind the window molding. Claim was denied as Kia claims it took an impact based on the photos.

EVERY TIME, IT HAS BEEN ON LEFT HAND TURNS FROM A STOP, IN SNOW MODE. I HAVE SOME ON VIDEO. AFTER SOME RESEARCH, OTHER KIA TELLURIDE AND HYUNDAI PALISADE OWNERS HAVE THE SAME ISSUE. I BROUGHT THE CAR INTO THE DEALER AND THEY TEST DROVE IT BUT COULD NOT DUPLICATE IT. SCANNED FOR DTC'S, NONE PRESENT. THEY SAID THE CAR OPERATES AS IT SHOULD. NEVER HAS A WARNING LIGHT SHOWN. ON THE LAST 2 TIMES IT HAPPENED, AFTER ALL ACCELARATION LOST, I HEARD A "CLUNKING NOSE" AND THE CAR JERKED. I THEN SWITCHED OUT OF SNOW MODE AND THE CAR OPERATED AS IT SHOULD. THIS HAS BEEN ONGOING SINCE 100 MILES ON THE NEW CAR. I NOW HAVE AROUND 600.

I have an EX trim. Driver Instrument Display is off and won't turn back on. I have tried turning off the car for extended periods of time and turning it back on but no luck. Not having this display on is a safety hazard not just because I cant see critical information but it seems when the display turned off it also turned off the following: - No audio from the turn signals - No audio from the reverse sensors even when I'm about to hit what is behind me - Can't tell what what gear I'm in from the gear selector as the light won't come on This is not acceptable as I just bought this car about a week ago from making this post. Not even 150 miles on it.
Driver instrument display is black, no information is displayed. It just happened when starting the car, no display. These LCD displays are dangerous. Go back to analog. I have NO information about anything going on with the car or it's speed. It's dangerous to drive. Multiple engine start/stop cycles do nothing.

Kia America, Inc. (Kia) is recalling certain 2020-2024 Telluride vehicles. The front power seat motor may overheat due to a stuck power seat slide knob or an improper recall 24V407 repair, which can result in a fire while parked or driving.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: A fire increases the risk of injury.
Remedy: Owners are advised to park outside and away from structures until the recall repair is complete. Dealers will install an electronic fuse assembly, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed August 13, 2026. Owners may contact Kia customer service at 1-800-333-4542. Kia's number for this recall is SC374. This recall replaces NHTSA recall number 24V407. Vehicles already repaired under the previous recall will need to have the new remedy completed. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will become searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning July 17, 2026.

Kia America, Inc. (Kia) is recalling certain 2023-2025 Telluride vehicles. The door belt molding trim can delaminate and detach from the vehicle.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: A detached trim piece can become a road hazard for other vehicles, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the belt molding trim assemblies as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 19, 2025. Owners may contact Kia customer service at 800-333-4542. Kia's number for this recall is SC347.

Kia America, Inc. (Kia) is recalling certain 2020-2024 Telluride vehicles. The front power seat motor may overheat due to a stuck power seat slide knob, which can result in a fire while parked or driving.

Remedy: Owners are advised to park outside and away from structures until the recall repair is complete. Dealers will install a bracket for the power seat switch back covers and replace the seat slide knobs, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 30, 2024. Kia America, Inc. (Kia) is recalling certain 2020-2024 Telluride vehicles. The intermediate shaft and right front driveshaft may not be fully engaged, which can result in vehicle roll away while in PARK.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: A vehicle roll away increases the risk of a crash or injury.
Remedy: Owners are advised to manually engage the emergency parking brake prior to exiting the vehicle until the recall remedy is performed. Dealers will update the electronic parking brake software and replace any damaged intermediate shafts as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 15, 2024. Kia America, Inc. (Kia) is recalling certain 2023 Sportage, Sportage Hybrid, Sportage Plug-in Hybrid, Niro Hybrid, Niro Plug-in Hybrid, Soul, and Telluride vehicles equipped with a digital instrument cluster containing a 4.2" LCD screen. The instrument cluster may fail to display any information when the vehicle is started. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard numbers 101, "Control and Displays," and 138, "Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems."
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: A blank instrument cluster display will not show critical information, such as tire pressure, warning messages, and warning lights, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will update the instrument cluster software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 26, 2023. Owners may contact Kia customer service at 1-800-333-4542. Kia's number for this recall is SC270.

Kia America, Inc. (Kia) is recalling certain 2023 Telluride vehicles. Due to a manufacturing error, the wire harnesses for the second row seat side air bags may become damaged, causing them not to deploy in the event of a crash.
Consequence & remedy
Consequence: Air bags that do not deploy as intended can increase the risk of injury in a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace, or secure the air bag wire harnesses, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 28, 2023. Owners may contact Kia customer service at 1-800-333-4542. Kia's number for this recall is SC262.
