TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 KIA AMANTI. THE CONTACT STATED THE STEERING WHEEL VIOLENTLY MOVED LEFT TO RIGHT AFTER A COMPLETE STOP WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT STATED THE VEHICLE WAS DIFFICULT TO MANEUVER AND EXCESSIVE FORCE WAS REQUIRED ON THE STEERING WHEEL. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT BOTH CONTROL ARMS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 13550000 (SUSPENSION). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 88,000. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE.
