The contact owns a 2022 Keystone Hideout. The contact stated that the fuses were blown. The contact's wife noticed wires hanging from the RV. The contact owns a 2022 Keystone Hideout. The contact stated that the fuses were blown. The contact's wife noticed wires hanging from the RV. There were bare wires in between the metal and the slide-out. The contact stated that the wire nuts were exposed. There were no warning lights illuminated. The contact was concerned about a potential fire. The RV was taken to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed, and it was determined that a drop end was needed. The RV was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted, but no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was unknown.

Keystone RV Company (Keystone) is recalling certain 2022 Dutchmen Aspen Trail, Coleman, Colorado, Voltage, Yukon, Keystone Carbon, Cougar, Hideout, Montana, Outback, Passport, Raptor, Retreat, Springdale, Sprinter and 2022-2023 Keystone Bullet travel trailers. The electric retractable awning has a welded seam on the fabric that may separate, potentially allowing the awning to drop beyond normal operation.

Consequence & remedy

Consequence: An awning that drops or extends beyond normal operation can increase the risk of injury.

Remedy: Dealers will repair or replace the awning fabric, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 16, 2022. Owners may contact Keystone customer service at 1-866-425-4369. Keystone's number for this recall is 22-434.

Keystone RV Company (Keystone) is recalling certain 2022 Keystone Arcadia, Carbon, Alpine, Avalanche, Cougar, Fuzion, High Country Montana, Hideout, Impact, Montana, Outback, Passport, Raptor, Springdale, and 2021-2022 Sprinter and Bullet fifth wheel and travel trailers. The solar controller may be incorrectly wired, causing certain components and safety alarms, such as carbon monoxide and propane gas detectors, to become inoperable.

Consequence & remedy

Consequence: Inoperable safety alarms increase the risk of injury.

Remedy: Dealers will inspect voltage readings and correct the wiring as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 2, 2022. Owners may contact Keystone customer service at 1-866-425-4369. Keystone's number for this recall is 22-423.
