The contact owns a 2025 Kawasaki Z500 equipped with an LS2 Helmet, Helmet Model: Advant 2, and Model Number: FF910. The contact stated that while driving 40 MPH, another vehicle failed to yield, causing the motorcycle to crash into the side of the vehicle. The contact was knocked unconscious. The contact was transported to the hospital by an ambulance. The contact stated that the modular helmet was equipped with a chin guard, and the chin guard compressed against the contact's face during the incident, causing the contact to sustain broken teeth and a fractured jaw. The contact received medical assistance. The motorcycle was towed and might be a total loss. A police report was filed. The contact had not noticed any visible fracture on the helmet. The helmet manufacturer was not contacted. The helmet was not replaced.
