2025 Kawasaki Z H2 / ZR1000SNF VIN: [XXX] This motorcycle has experienced multiple serious mechanical failures at extremely low mileage, and I am concerned that it presents an ongoing safety risk. At approximately 2,259 miles, the transmission suffered a major failure requiring warranty repair. Following that repair, the motorcycle exhibited abnormal transmission behavior, including unexpectedly entering neutral or an apparent false neutral during quick-shift upshifts. This resulted in sudden loss of drive and engine over-revving. At approximately 4,200 miles, the motorcycle then suffered a catastrophic engine failure involving a dropped valve. The motorcycle was again returned for extensive warranty repair. After an extended period out of service, I picked the motorcycle up from the servicing dealer, RideNow Powersports [XXX], on XXX. The motorcycle still does not appear to be operating normally or safely. During the ride home immediately after receiving it from the dealer, the check-engine light illuminated and the motorcycle exhibited extremely severe vibration. The vibration was dramatically greater than normal and severe enough that I am concerned about continuing to operate the motorcycle. This motorcycle has therefore experienced a catastrophic transmission failure, abnormal gear engagement/false-neutral behavior following the transmission repair, a catastrophic dropped-valve engine failure, and now a check-engine warning and severe abnormal vibration immediately following the engine repair. These repeated failures have occurred on a nearly new motorcycle with very low mileage. A sudden loss of drive, unexpected neutral condition, engine failure, or severe mechanical failure while riding a motorcycle can result in loss of control and presents a significant safety concern.
