Leaking fuel tank. At weld that holds seat on. Same issue the 2003 with has been recalled. This is a safety issue. My bike can catch on fire. Other models on kawasaki valcan have been recalled also. This on needs to be recalled asap. May be why the last owner sold it to pass it on to next owner.

STARTED AS SMELL OF GASOLINE FUMES AND NOW DRIPS FUEL OUT THE LEAK. LOOKS TO BE SAME ISSUE AS AFFECTING MOST OTHER VULCAN 1600 FUEL TANKS DATING BACK TO 2004. BIKE HAS NEVER BEEN LAID DOWN / NO ACCIDENTS.
