While starting to turn through an intersection after a red light the vehicle stalled in the center of said intersection. After turning the vehicle fully off and restarting the dash lights for a steering malfunction illuminated. The vehicle was difficult to steer but was drivable. After several on of cycles the steering was easier. We made an appointment and took it to the dealer. The dealer found the steering rack to have an "internal" fault and was unsafe to drive. The vehicle died in the center of a busy intersection. We could have been hit because the turn lest arrow ended and oncoming cars had the green light. We got the vehicle back about 9 weeks later. The steering rack had been replaced but the dealer had found corroded and charred wires to the fuel pump which also had to be repaired. The next evening with the adaptive cruise/Lane guidance set the steering system became erratic and the vehicle started trying to turn into oncoming traffic. I turned the cruise off and continued to drive about 1 mile where I was stopped at a red light. The green left turn arrow illuminated so I started through the intersection and the vehicle died in the oncoming lane. I had to turn the vehicle totally off and restart it in order to proceed. Once moving there were 2 steering system warning lights illuminated on the dash. I cautiously returned home then made an appointment to return the vehicle to the dealer. The warning lights went out but the dealer found multiple codes in the ECU. They had the vehicle for a while, said they reprogrammed the modules that control the steering after which the symptoms could not be duplicated. We have the vehicle and several issues still persist. I called today for another service appointment. The vehicle has an odd steering twitch in tight turns especially in parking lots or driveways. Steering effort is noticeably higher and doesn't return to on center position without input. The steering wheel is not centered during straight driving.

I am writing to formally document a serious and extremely concerning safety incident that occurred on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at approximately 12:06 PM while driving my 2024 Jeep Wagoneer, which currently has approximately 58,000 miles. While driving, multiple critical warning lights and system failure messages appeared simultaneously. I have attached photos documenting the warnings that occurred during the incident. Service Power Steering • ABS warning • Red steering wheel with exclamation mark • Check Engine Light • Collision / Auto Emergency Braking warning • Traction Control / Electronic Stability Control Warning • Forward Collision Warning / Automatic Emergency Braking Disabled During this event, the vehicle behavior became unpredictable and unsafe. Considering the failure of multiple safety systems at once, this created a situation that could have easily resulted in a serious accident. I am extremely shaken by the experience and thankful that my four children were not in the vehicle with me at the time. Unfortunately, this incident is part of a long list of issues I have experienced with this vehicle since purchasing it. These include: Persistent check engine light issues • Replacement of all third-row seatbelts due to defects • Oil valve replacement (Code P06D – Oil Pump Control Stuck High) • Multiple software updates • The vehicle shifting itself into park when coming to a stop, with the gear dial locking and requiring the vehicle to be fully shut off and restarted before it can be driven again • Driver window intermittently sticking • Replacement of the passenger seat massage system due to an air bladder malfunction • Vehicle jolting/jumping when coming to a stop Given the number of ongoing mechanical and electronic problems, I no longer feel confident that this vehicle is safe to drive. I purchased this vehicle specifically for the safety and reliability.

Assessment of Ongoing Mechanical & Safety Issues – 2023 Jeep Grand Wagoneer To Whom It May Concern, I am providing a clear, factual assessment of the ongoing issues with my 2023 Jeep Grand Wagoneer, which I purchased for $108,000 and have owned for less than two years. During this time, I have experienced twelve separate mechanical and functional failures, several of which have rendered the vehicle undriveable for prolonged periods. Below is a summary of the major issues that continue to impact the reliability, safety, and usability of this vehicle. 1. Seat / Massage Mechanism Defect (Ongoing for Months) A malfunction in the seat massage system has created a large, hard protrusion in the driver’s seat. This defect has resulted in significant back pain, requiring both urgent care and follow-up medical evaluation. I have now been diagnosed with sciatica, which my physician has indicated is likely related to prolonged pressure and improper spinal support caused by the seat malfunction. Two dealerships have confirmed the issue and ordered the replacement part months ago, yet the part delivery has been repeatedly delayed, most recently to January 6, 2026. This has affected my ability to safely and comfortably operate the vehicle, and has now escalated into a documented medical issue. 2. Suspension Noise During Auto-Leveling The vehicle’s air suspension system produces extremely loud noises during auto-adjustments. This raises concerns regarding the safety and structural integrity of the suspension system. 3. Window Hinge Failure A window hinge has prematurely failed, requiring service intervention. This is not consistent with typical wear for a vehicle less than two years old. 4. Cruise Control Malfunction The cruise control system intermittently ceases functioning while driving. The only way to restore it is to turn the vehicle off and restart it, which presents a safety concern when traveling at highway speeds. This points to a possible electrical or

AEB system engaged emergency braking for no apparent reason when traveling at >35mph on a busy road with the flow of traffic. My face actually hit the steering wheel and a car traveling behind me barely stopped in time to avoid rear ending me. The AEB system has repeatedly displayed warning lights in the dash previously. For each occurrence, the vehicle was serviced at the dealership and reassurances were provided each time that the underlying issue was remedied with reprogramming and/or replacement of electrical control modules, however the recurrent nature of the issue (and many other issues surrounding the electrical system in my Grand Wagoneer) doesn't instill confidence in the "fix" they're providing. At this point in time, I don't feel safe driving my Grand Wagoneer, as I don't know when the vehicle will involuntarily slam on the brakes in traffic and cause an accident.

While driving my 2023 Grand Wagoneer the Serv 4WD light and dash spelled out Service four wheel drive, it lit up the anti collision light, ECS, TCS, and HOLD!. The parking brake also engaged automatically while driving at least 4 times. This is a serious safety concern to allow a vehicle to continue driving with the ability to automatically engage the parking brake while driving. The safety of my entire family was put at risk. I currently have the vehicle sitting at the dealership to be diagnosed and reproduced as the vehicle lost all power after this incident. Another serious safety concern is the total loss of power with no notice. This could easily have been while I was driving and caused a serious accident and possible fatalities.

I have a 2024 jeep grand wagoneer. It has been activating it's emergency braking system randomly while driving. One time it was on a road with a 55mph speed limit the car beeped and slammed on the brakes. Morning sunny no traffic car was clean and free of dirt. Second time was on a 2 lane road speed limit 35 day light car beeped and slamed on the brakes the behind me had to go into oncoming lane to avoid hitting me. The 3rd time was after leaving the dealership after the 4th time in for service for them trying to figure out why the truck is doing this. Was on the cross street from the 2nd time. This time it high lighted a mail box in the night-vision mode and slammed on the brakes again day light no traffic car was clean. Mail box wasn't hanging in the road. We opened a case with FCA for a buy back they denied it. FCA also has not issued a stop drive order. We are currently using my wife's car to transport the kids as we do not feel comfortable with the issue not being resolved with FCA. My wife has the same truck hers is having the same issue but not slamming on the brakes hers is in currently with jeep engineering and they want us to record the car when it actives the system with our phones while driving. We feel very unsafe driving the cars and is hoping NHTSA can step in with some help. At the end of the day we are both trading our less than 1 yr old trucks in for another brand and is losing around 30,000 between the 2 vehicles.

We brought this Brand-new Wagoneer on April 19th, 2023, since then we've been having a lot of issues with the vehicle, On August 7th, the electrical system failed we took it to the dealer, and they upgraded for us. Again, 3 weeks later while I was driving home from Sam's club, the power steering light keeps flashing, I had trouble with the wheels i pulled to the side turned off the car for 5 minutes then light went off and I was able to drive again. Few days ago, on October 16th the vehicle electrical system shut off again, none of the buttons inside the vehicle works, the screen went off completely. I was too busy at work that day and did not have time to drop off the vehicle. On Wednesday October 18th after I pick up my daughter from school, the vehicle completely shut off at a Gas station, I decided that vehicle was not safe to drive and decided to drop it to the dealer, as I was leaving the Gas Station nothing works inside the car and we hit a pole at the gas station which severely damaged the front Bumper. We reached out to Jeep and was told to drop the car to the nearest Jeep dealer, and they will fix it. When we got there, they fixed only the electrical problems inside the car but refuse to fix the bumper which was cause by the forward collision avoidance system failure to engage due to the electrical problems. We pick up the car Saturday morning now the automatic break light is on, and the battery keep discharging. We want your firm to please help us as it not safe to drive that vehicle now. We are very afraid and wants jeep to either replace the vehicle with another one or fully refund the purchase price.
