I paid cash($44000) for it. I notified the dealership and then had to come to the nursing home for rehab and have been unable to take it back so it’s sitting at my daughters house for over 6 mos. The dealership was emailing me frequently to come in and check out their cars but when I told them that I wanted a car for that one and I was afraid to drive it they quit corresponding with me. You have numerous negative reviews on it. I got it around 10/25/22 and am still in nursing home. Please advise. One man changed his out himself. The salesman(EvanI think) told me they didn’t have any Jeep grand Cherokees, what I wanted, then told me they did after I bought this one- a lie. I even suggested they pick it up themselves that’s when they guit messaging me.

On Sunday evening (4/16/2023) we noticed a very scary noise coming from our 2022 Jeep Cherokee while we were on the freeway. No warning lights were on in the vehicle. Thankfully we were close to home when we noticed the noise and were able to immediately get off the 110 freeway. We decided not to drive the car and had it towed on Tuesday morning to the nearest Chrysler Dealership, Bravo CDJR of Alhambra. Today we received confirmation from the dealership that the PTU casing is cracked, leaking fluid and metal shavings were found. Dealer has recommended new PTU and PTU fluid. But they don't know when they'll be able to find the part for our vehicle since it is so new. I couldn't find a recall of this part for 2022 Jeep Cherokees online so I thought we should report it in case this is a faulty part. Thankfully on one was hurt in this case but it was a very scary situation.

While on a road trip for the Thanksgiving Holiday on Interstate 95, the in dash information cluster advised me that the right turn indicator on the vehicle failed. Upon pulling into a service station and inspecting the vehicle it was confirmed that the right rear turn indicator had indeed failed and would no longer illuminate. In addition to the failure of the turn signal the Lane Departure features of the vehicle were then disabled. When taking the vehicle in for service on the week of November 28th, I was advised that there was a known issue with water infiltration in the housing. The manufacturer of the vehicle is aware of the issue and has a 45 step process to diagnose the problem. As of today, December 16th, I have been unable for a dealer to obtain and install a replacement fixture to return my vehicle to road worthy operation. Florida Statutes govern the safe operation of motor vehicles on its highways and my vehicle currently violates Sections 316.155 and 316.610, preventing me from operating said vehicle on the highways of the state. I am unable to operate the vehicle lawfully on the roads but am still required to make monthly note payments on an vehicle in which I can not use legally.

Traveling in heavy morning traffic in inside lane at approximately 25mph, engine suddenly lost power with simultaneous ‘Shift to Park’ error message and brief flash of amber warning light on instrument panel. Vehicle would not accelerate when gas pedal pressed, engine only revved. Driver (myself) had to slam on brakes and quickly put car in P then back to D in order to get car to accelerate forward, narrowly avoiding multi-car collision from behind. Car is brand new ‘22 (owned only 6 days) with less than 600 miles total. Vehicle will be dropped off at dealership 9/11/22 for diagnostics.
