The contact owns a 2021 Jayco Jay Flight. The contact stated that while utilizing the RV for recreational purposes, the contact became aware that the propane stove, furnace, and water heater were no longer functioning. No warning lights were illuminated. The RV was taken to an independent mechanic, who diagnosed a failure with the propane regulator. The contact was also made aware that the refrigerator would only run on electricity. The vehicle was not repaired. After investigating the failure, the contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V685000 (Equipment); the VIN was included, but parts were not available at the time. The contact later received notification that the remedy was available, prompting the contact to attempt to schedule the repair but the contact was unable to locate a service center. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, a case was opened, and the contact was later informed that records showed that the RV had already been repaired. The contact adamantly disputed the RV recall records; stating that the RV had never been taken into a service center for the repair as stated by the manufacturer. The failure mileage was unknown.
