THE BRAKES IN OUR JAGUAR X-TYPE SUDDENLY FAIL WITHOUT WARNING. WE HAVE PREVENTED ANY ACCIDENTS BY QUICKLY GRABBING FOR THE EMERGENCY BRAKE AND THIS HAS STOPPED THE CAR. IT IS VERY SCARY BECAUSE THE FAILURE HAS HAPPENED WHEN APPROACHING INTERSECTIONS. *TR

DT: THE CONTACT COMPLAINED ABOUT BRAKE PROBLEM ON 2005 JAGUAR X TYPE. WHEN APPLYING THE BRAKES THE CAR WILL NOT STOP. THE CONTACT DID NOT RECALL IF THE VEHICLE MADE ANY NOISES PRIOR TO BRAKING. SHE TOOK VEHICLE TO DEALER, AND THEY COULD NOT OR WOULD NOT DO ANYTHING. TOOK TWO MORE TIMES, AND THEY HAVE NOT FIXED THE PROBLEM. ALMOST HAD AN ACCIDENT THREE TIMES. THE ROAD WAS DRY ALL THREE TIMES. SHE WAS CONCERNED ABOUT THE COLD WEATHER . THIS HAPPENED AT ALL SPEEDS. THE CONTACT NOTICED THIS APPROXIMATELY SIX MONTHS AGO.
