BROUGHT IN MY 2000 ISUZU RODEO TO A DEALERSHIP ON 01/21/11 DUE TO A SAFETY RECALL WHICH WAS ISSUED IN OCT,2010. ADVISED THAT INSTALLING THE NEW RECALL PART WOULD BE POINTLESS DUE TO RUST ON THE FRAME OF THE RODEO. ADVISED THAT MY RODEO WOULD NOT PASS INSPECTION DUE TO EXTENT OF RUST AND WAS ADVISED OF NUMEROUS HOLES IN THE FRAME…

BROUGHT IN MY 2000 ISUZU RODEO TO A DEALERSHIP ON 01/21/11 DUE TO A SAFETY RECALL WHICH WAS ISSUED IN OCT,2010. ADVISED THAT INSTALLING THE NEW RECALL PART WOULD BE POINTLESS DUE TO RUST ON THE FRAME OF THE RODEO. ADVISED THAT MY RODEO WOULD NOT PASS INSPECTION DUE TO EXTENT OF RUST AND WAS ADVISED OF NUMEROUS HOLES IN THE FRAME. FURTHER RESEARCH SHOWED THIS IS A MORE THAN COMMON ISSUE PERTAINING TO THE ISUZU RODEO. ON 01/26/11 I WAS ADVISED BY ISUZU DEALERSHIP THAT ISUZU WOULD NOT FIX THE PROBLEM BUT INSTEAD WAS REFERRED TO AN AUTO BODY SHOP. WAS INFORMED OF AN ADDITIONAL OPTION WHICH I WAS TOLD ISUZU WOULD BUY BACK THE CAR FOR THE COST OF THE BRACKET AND REPAIRS. *TR
